Principle
Laser welding thermoplastic material is achieved through the light transmitant effect. After the laser beam goes through the first layer of transparent plastic, no impact on the first layer. The energy of the laser is directly absorbed by a second layer and melting the second layer. The thermal effects will heat the first layer. After cooling down, two pieces of plastic are wleded together.
