The machine adopts a gantry walking structure and consists of a gantry, a positioner, a fine wire submerged arc welding system, a welding flux recovery system and a machine control system.
The ends of the workpiece are fixed on the positioner through clamping tooling, and the automatic circumferential welding of the tank are realized by the rotation of the positioner, the walking of magnetic car, and the side to side as well as up and down movements in relation to the workpiece by the welding torch that is driven by a slide.
