Resistance BUTT welding machines clamp the parts in jaws firmly, press the parts against each other and pass AC electrical current. Once metal start melting on the surface, machine quickly applies upset force to join the pieces together.
Welding process is simple and produces good results, minimum burrs on the outside of the joint.
Welding jaws are designed in such a way to simplify clamping parts for welding.
Special Butt weld control circuits assure weld quality and repeatability
Resistance Butt Welding Machines are mainly used for welding steel wire, pipes, etc. with a small cross-section (not to exceed 250mm2).
